Hi! My name is Mathew Ingram, and I'm the chief digital writer for the Columbia Journalism Review. But in my spare time, I like to collect weird and/or interesting news on my personal blog, which I collect in this newsletter, When The Going Gets Weird. The name comes from a quote by infamous gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, who said "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro."
